Yes it's Rugby time again... and I showed my true colours by cheering Stanoevic try with a "go go go go" while working. My colleagues are still laughing. Luckily the only prerequisite necessary for my job is willingness to show up and not stealing (too much) money from the till so this was just considered a gentle quirk.
Italy lost shamefully but a) Japan did worse b) as somebody that has seen every single Italy 6 Nations match, I can attest how far Italy has come in the last few years. Heck we scored two tries... until last year we barely knew what a try looked like. We were playing one of the best (I will say the best when they actually win this World Cup ) teams in the world
As some of you probably know Luciano Pavarotti is dead. This means that I found myself coming and going to work in the middle of this:

Traffic worries aside, If I had a penny for every time I have heard the words "He was a great man" , "He looked very peaceful" (yes people have been queing for the last 2 days to walk by a dead man wearing a wax mask) and variations of "my grandfather's sister is third cousin with his grandmother's long lost relative hence we basically were family" I would have enough to retire as of now.
As it is I just feel sorry for his 4 year old daughter that will grow up without her father.
