This goddess of Luck is Happy

At the bookies, cashiers are the closest thing to the Goddess of Luck.

The cashiers, mostly female, are much flirted upon, tall tales are told about their sexual prowess and availability, and rich tales are told about their speed and skill Both change according to the balance of wins and losses: 

You win, the cashier is an angel

You loose, the cashier is a whore.

One of the best traditions is what I call "Tipping the goddess", meaning leaving a tip to the cashier who served you when you win big.

It's a dieing tradition, killed by social degrade and the recession, but today one of our customers won 600 euros on a 10 euros horseracing bet and left me a 50 euros tip.

What am I going to do with it ?

My own version of tipping the goddess: I am going to buy Christmas presents and cards for my friends,
