Everything is better now
Dec. 10th, 2008 03:00 pmIt was quite anticlimatic, I spent more time waiting outside (3 hours. He was running a bit late) than inside (everything was over in 20 minutes
)They decided not to do just a biopsy but to take off the offending cells at the same time, so it was more like very minor surgery, but now it's over and done. Hopefully all the offending weird cells have been shaved away
We are now waiting for the istology report next month and I will need regular checks but hopefully this should be the end of it.
In the meantime,I'll be sore for a few days and I need to take some precautions.The doctor's assistant told me in apologetic tones I cannot have sex for the next 30 days. Considering the draught my sex life has been for the last few years, i reassured her seriously it wasn't going to be a problem.
Nothing is a problem at the moment.
