Yes, my journal is looking a bit purple today. But I fancied something different, something Halloweny but not conventional, something a bit...me.
Not sure how long it's gonna last before I tire my eyes and revert to something more boring, but in the meantime...Miss Edith told me to do it.

Halloween blessing

Samhain is:
A time of endings,
A time of the thinning of the veil,
A time to honour and welcome the Old Ones,
A time to clear out fears,
A time for inner peace and rest.

It is
Pumpkins and apples,
Hazelnuts and cider,
Love, and remembering, and friendship.

May the goddess as Wise Woman and the god as Lord of the Shadows make us blessed this Samhain night, and guide us through the dark days until we come once again to the light.
