What have I been up to?
Jul. 28th, 2005 08:59 pmA lot and nothing.
Watched some films (loved particularly Donnnie Darko, is such a sweet and sad and realistic film), read some books (nearly finished the Golden Bough, that may be a bit dated, but it is still a very interesting resource and model of methodology applied; finished today From Hell, Alan Moore's masterpiece, reminded me why I love London so much and made me feel more its pain for the current going ons), gone hunting (I so love my new paper rice lamp, I am now thinking of painting it, but need to think this through), done decoupage, swam, nursed my dad's partner with her bone infection, written a little snippet of a story, slept badly, dreamed a lot and not made any decision on what I want to do when I grow up. Professionally the market is not great around here, but I just settled down in my home and I do not want to leave it. Also I have my docs and dads more or less nearby and this is a big advantage.
