Things I think late at night on too little sleep

 Last night I was riding home at 2:00 am when I decided that if God exists, to me he should be like Stephen Fry:

Too clever, too compassionate, happens to mess things up but feels bad enough about it that you cannot stay angry at him, amazingly powerful with words, a total geek with a geeky sense of humour.

Yes I know I need sleep.

But what or who god should be like for you ?

I think God should wear beanies, be a compassionate, creative genius who loves his kids, is married to a dancer, has a goofy sense of humor and no problem wearing odd outfits.

And besides, else would be Bono's BFF?

What does it says about our choices in gods that your has Bono as BFF and mine as Doctor House ?

I think it says that we *both* require our god to have lots of patience.

[And your god's BFF is *also* Wooster, which balances out the Dr. Houseness. And really, Stephen Fry *rocks*; we saw V for Vendetta last weekend, complete with the 'making of' feature, and I was fangirling him like crazy. That man is so smart...]

I too like the 'married to a dancer' idea. She's quite the talented, intelligant babe too. My god likes partnerships of all kinds [I think the public displays of affection with the forementioned BFF emphasize that nicely].

*hugs* Sorry not having been around, but my brain sort of went on strike on me and left the hormones running. But I was thinking of you this afternoon... I am working with a 16 year old talented girl with writer potential whose English teacher has killed her love for words... we are working together on some poems to restore her faith in Words and hence in herself. Any suggested inspirational material ?
