...what the very expensive garden shears I have been searching for all Summer were doing in my cutlery drawer?

I found them tonight while I was looking for a corkscrew and ending up using the family heirloom that legend says was owned by my grand-grandfather the landlord to open a bottle of Portogues wine that he would certainly have frowned upon?

And he would have had a couple of chosen words for my bottle opening technique too, until I found my usual one hiding in my wodden spoon collection. Yes I do collect wodden spoons. They make nice noises.And no. I am not drunk. 

I am drunk on the happiness of having found the Soundtracks of both De-lovely and Every Cowgirl gets the blues and let's not forget Babilon, my favourite erotic magazine and having had a long bath with oils, cats and music.

Oh and did I mention I do have no family for the week-end?
