I posted an ad in the local paper for some lessons last week...and I was pretty depressed that I was getting no answers.

I went and doublechecked my details this morning just to discover that I had written the wrong phone number on the ad: not remembering my own mobile phone number I copied it from agenda...and copied the phone number written just below mine i.e. that of my doctor.

I am a complete and total idiot.

I also discovered I have written my mobile phone number wrong on the CV I have sent out to a couple of jobs... no wonder they did never call me back

*Goes back to banging head against the wall*

Oh honey, time to get the ad rewritten and the CVs sent out again.

And for what it's worth, I have to check my phone every time someone asks for the number ;)

I am now afraid to go to my doctor in case he had been able to connect the calls with the person...

Should he do it I am gonna try my best angelic look on him....

Well, it's not like you ever call *yourself*. If I didn't order pizza and Chinese take-out pretty regularly, I won't know my phone number either. Actually, I have to look up both my sister's and my best girl friend's numbers too...and I call them all the time!

So...you aren't alone in having a memory glitch here. :D

I blame moedern technology... when I was a kid I had to remember all the important phone numbers... now my phones and computers do it for me.

I sorted them out but I do still feel a bit silly for the mistake
