Yesterday I spent the equivalent of my bimonthly water and gas bill to put my mittens on a Signed Copy of Joe Kubert's Fax from Sarajevo.

Went to a con or spent money of a stand up cardboard cut-out of my fave actor/character at the time.

Both sad and unexciting.

Writing fanfic is already very geeky...

Writing fanfic is not geeky, it's simply practice against everyday stress and useful training for writers.

Buying a cardboard cut-out is quite geeky. But you get extra points if you took it to bed with you ;)
