What I can say...all is well what ends well.
The writers did show some respect for the fans with this goodbye to the original SG1, without falling into the pits like in X-Files and The West Wing, that has lost the brilliance of the early days (when the focus was on characters for whom both writers and viewers cared) and has become a showcase for actors whose careers died eons ago.
Respect to them.
And now...bring on Season 9 with a brand new team and Daniel and Teal'c having their due.
May I be tempted to write some BB/MS twincest.
