Daytime television
May. 1st, 2006 06:02 pmAs you probably know, I am keeping company to a sick friend at the moment. We just spent the afternoon watching daytime television.
In the middle of a talk show about drug addiction amongst housewives I realised that of course housewives needed drugs: it was the only way to put up with rubbish like that on the box. (and with this I am not implying that all housewives do is to watch daytime TV, only that they are the ones more likely to be at home at that time of the day)
I also congratulated myself on not owning a TV set (Internet and DVD are my weapons of choice) because I could feel my brain cell frizz and die...
