The butterfly effect
Dec. 31st, 2004 11:16 am"When humanity ceases to be creating its technology but rather becomes the product of its technology, that's when things have gone too far."
Just found this quote, from a book called Conversation with God, in an article about the mystic/psychological causes/consequences of Sunday's disaster.
I will not launch here in a rant on the evils of oil companies, corrupt and inept politicians and stupid tourists, out of respect for the people that have died and are still doing it. What I will do instead is to reaffirm my commitment to work on myself and the environment around me to make it a better place, healthier and more peaceful.
The butterfly effect is real. Let's be the butterfly that move her wings and bring healing.
Blessed, Bearer of Peace and Wise Be.
