The Rules: The 1st player of this "game" starts with the topic "5 Holiday Traditions" and people who get tagged need to write a LiveJournal entry about their 5 holiday traditions as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 5 people to be tagged.
My 5 Holiday Traditions:
1)Buying the presents that I really really want for myself...myself and ending up spending more than I should.
2)Deciding in a moment of madness to be "creative" with the Xmas tree and ending up destrying one or more item of furniture.
3)Inflicting on my father at least one item of not traditional Christmas food (It made history the year when we tried to drown an eel in white wine and we found a very drunken eel wandering the halls), while all he wants is: Fish Soup on X-mas eve, tortellini and bollito on the day (Bollito is a mixture of the most disgusting parts of pig head, tongue etc., boiled with vegetables until the grease detach itself from the bone. In ancient times, they made soap out of the cooking water)
4)Buying a very heavy fantasy book, as an escape (this year is Narnia. All 7 books)
5)My great aunties ringing us on Boxing day to wish an happy Birthday to my father and fogetting that he is not my grandfather (their beloved, dead brother).
And much fun was had by all...
