There are tons of versions out there, so if you don't like this one, I'm sure you can find one that you do. I went through four before I found this one and this one is my favorite. One used different intervals but I think these ones are the most common. My friend runs to one that has music that's a bit louder and close to what our students enjoy but I like this music. It's soothing without being too relaxing and it transitions well between the walk and the run.
I'm not going to lie and say that I love it, but it feels good to know that I'm doing it (even if I hate it while doing it). I've set myself a goal of doing 2 5k runs this spring which leaves me plenty of time to go through the program.
Also, there's the community couch_to_5k that I just joined and so far everyone seems really welcoming and encouraging.
