Historic gardens: I am a true gardening enthusiast. My balcony in summer is known as "the jungle" and I love everything about plants, including their history, the reasons behind their names, their uses and popularity. And this applies to large concentrations of plants i.e. gardens. Is there any more tangible sign of the existence of past than an hundreds of years old tree?
Teaching: I have been involved in education most of my adult life, be it offering support tutoring to travellers children or organising procurement courses and training staff at work. Recently I took it a step further and I am making it my profession. I love it. From learning new teaching techinques, to improving my subject knowledge to the actual teaching. few things give me more joy than a student getting it. For me it's about offering people opportunities, giving them a voice. Even if it's only by giving them a new language to play with.
Torchwood: Witty dialogue, realistic female characters, angsty plots about characters' personal lives that have actually something to do with the storyline, alien artefacts, mpreg as canon and a dashing omnisexual leading man. Do you need more?
Orange candles: I love candles and orange is the colour of quiet energy. Just what you need to take and give love.
Rubber ducky flock: They are rubber duckies... everybody cannot help but smile while looking at them. Isn't it,ebi_chan ?
Carefree Highway: I love this icon for two reasons: first of all it has poppies in it and they are my favourite flowers, and then there is the idea of travel. I am very Odylike in this respect... If I do stay in one place for too long I get restless and if I get restless I get in trouble...
