Fiction becomes reality

I spoke of going to see Il Caimano a couple of weeks ago. The final scene of the film has the Cayman finally found guilty and sent to jail, only to get out of the tribunal and make outragious declarations on the judges morality that start a street riot.
The last image we see is the Monna Lisa smile of the Cayman driving away against a background of flames.
This image looks like a scary premonition after Berlusconi's behavior and declarations in the wake of the last elections, where he lost. Or so says everybody except him and his televisions.
He speaks of irregularities, of conspiracies at work against him, and refuses any form of dialog.

Riots in the streets? With a country torn in half, badly informed, scared by everyday violence, by an economy on the way to bankrupt, by overwhelming and badly handled migration fluxes and by the absence of strong institutions riots are becoming more and more a possibility...
